Yoko Ono Lennon has kindly authorized the use of the John Lennon self-portrait image on the Florida "Imagine" specialty license plate, to help the Florida Association of Food Banks  (FAFB) in their ongoing fight to end hunger in the state of Florida. FAFB's 16 member food banks serve all 67 counties in Florida.

As of December 31, 2011, 72,890 "Imagine" specialty license plates have been sold in Florida, raising $1,822,250.00 to fund programs to end hunger in this state.

The $25.00 specialty plate fee goes directly to the Florida Association of Food Banks for programs directed at ending hunger in Florida. FAFB was established in January 1993 and is a 501c(3) charitable non-profit organization, committed to making sure that families that need food can get it in a dignified manner and in a way that serves as a real safety net for those who fall on difficult times. FAFB is affiliated with Feeding America the nation's leading hunger-relief organization, which has a nationally recognized food distribution system and has 200 member food banks throughout the country. FAFB members are non-governmental organizations with consistently high ratings from Charity Navigator.

In 2009, the estimated wholesale value of the food distributed by FAFB totaled $121,700,000.00. This money saves government agencies and frontline charitable agencies up to 85% in food program costs. That translates into millions of dollars of savings for thousands of charitable programs and state agencies throughout Florida. Food banks provide food to other community based agencies that directly provide food to men, women and children facing hunger.

Florida Independent Automobile Dealers Association (FIADA) has chosen the Florida Association of Food Banks as its designated charity.

FIADA also donated $8,741.70 from their Special Membership Drawing proceeds at the FIADA Annual Convention
